Oswego, NY - Michael Conti, Past eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Champion (2014) and current series driver for Junior Motorsports (JRM) to test Haynes Racing #86 Small Block Supermodified (SBS) at the historic Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY.
The test will take place on July 7, 2023 during the regularly scheduled “Fast Friday” when Oswego Speedway regulars have an opportunity to test prior to the Saturday show. The test comes as the result of Conti’s newest sim racing partner for 2023, MARDON PC and its owner Bryan Haynes.
“This is an exciting deal with so many layers to it, but mostly it is an opportunity for Michael and I to have some fun while helping bridge the gap between sim and real world,” says Haynes.
Haynes Racing is a veteran team in the SBS class with multiple feature wins, heat wins, and the 2015 SBS Classic Championship to their credit. A family run operation, brothers Bryan and Brad are the only two brothers to finish 1st and 2nd in a feature in any division at Oswego Speedway. They accomplished this in the second race of the 2021 season which would also see them finish 3rd (Bryan) and 5th (Brad) in the season points.
Michael Conti is sure to be in top notch equipment as he circles the historic 5/8s of a mile steel palace.
